Currently, we are is seeking to hire a Senior Product Manager, EBD for our HQin Barcelona.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving (with oversight from manager) the product life cycle management (PLM) strategy - concept through commercialization and lifecycle enhancements to eventual end of life.

What will you do?

  • Defines overall PLM strategy for NPI’s and portfolios in conjunction/alignment with Global Head of Marketing, EBD
  • Assesses the global marketplace. Works cross-functionally to identify new business opportunities and market/customer requirements.
  • Works with R&D & Clinical team to drive new products through the development process.
  • Orchestrates the global launch and initial commercialization of new products with global marketing team, regional marketing team and commercial team.
  • Develops foundational value proposition, positioning and messaging for new products
  • Develops competitive analysis and positioning for new product launch
  • Works with finance and regional counterparts to develop pricing and forecasts for new product launches
  • Works with clinical and regulatory teams to create claims matrix for initial product launch

Essential Job Functions

  • Gathers, defines, and leads the business requirements process based on VOC, market/clinical inputs, and company internal information to inform strategy.
  • Ensures the strategy reflects business objectives and market needs. Works closely with the business partners, R&D, QA&RA, Clinical, Operations, Service, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to gain data inputs and information to inform strategic decision making.
  • Builds the business plan and conducts financial analysis for different product performance aspects (ASP, GM, annual revenues, etc.) and recommends pricing new product development initiatives.
  • Contributes to distinctive product positioning, messaging, and branding to drive competitive advantage, revenue, and market share for product launch.
  • Monitors competitive activity, including robust competitive analysis as part of the new product launch to regional counterparts.
  • Works with clinical team to inform ongoing market/post-marketing clinical research, supported by communication with leading KOLs and customers.
  • Manages key enterprise level projects that may touch various portfolios, products and cross functional areas.
  • Communicates VOC to the organization from new product launches to enhancing existing product(s) or product line(s) – acts as the “voice of the” to inform strategic decision making to increase the health of the business.
  • Foster and contribute to a vibrant team and company culture.

What do you need?

  • 5-8 years experience in Brand/Product Management and/or Product Development
  • Outstanding clinical acumen with ability to assimilate and apply technical information.
  • Experience in Dermatology, Aesthetics, Specialty Dermatology, or Medical Device/Capital Equipment
  • Experience in strategic planning & roadmap development for a product line, franchise, or business unit
  • Excellent business acumen, P&L management, business analytics, and program/budget forecasting
  • Bi-lingual english/spanish presentation, written and verbal communication skills with internal/external customers.
  • Ability to understand common scientific and technical journals, financial, and legal documents.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required, MBA a plus.
