Responsibilities Your area of responsibility in the Legal Area:Being responsible for the Spanish Legal Area and in collaboration with Corporate Legal:Provide legal advice to the ManagementDefine and implement structure and processes inside legal areaCoordinate external legal advisors relations (Corporate Law, Public Law, Labour Law, Tax Law)Responsible for Criminal Law prevention planResponsible for defining company strategy & defence in arbitrations, administrative and court procedures. Follow up of legal processesResponsible for Corporate housekeepingResponsible for PoA, board & shareholders equity resolutionsDefinition of company contract models (distribution, NDA, freight & logistics, collaborations,…)Advise in IP related topicsResponsible for Legal Tracker and Contract Management tools together with Legal DatabaseImplementing corporate contracting policyResponsible for developing and improving the contract platform softwareDigitalization of contract management including signatureBe the contact person within all the Contract Managers to assure a proper contract complianceDeveloping best practice recommendations and reducing legal risks Your area of responsibility in the Compliance area:Ensuring and implementation of the organizational Code of Conduct & Compliance policyProtocols and procedures implementation in case any compliance case is detected within the organizationInvestigating and solving compliance related issuesDeveloping tools and methods to track and report relevant informationCommunication with different departments providing explanation and legal assistanceIdentifying training needs regarding compliance procedures as well as training employees and directorsHe/she will report to the Regional Director and the HQ in GermanyHe/she will be the local compliance reference in Spain and will coordinate the local compliance officers (part of EMEA) as well as collaborating with staff at all levels of the organization What we look forBachelor’s degree in law, emphasis in business corporate law.Experience in the medical device/health industry is desirable but not a mustAbility to understand complex compliance laws & regulationsKnowledge of compliance regulationsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Compliance Specialist/Coordinator in a law firm or a big corporation and 5 years of experience in Legal DepartmentsVery good knowledge of Spanish and English written and spokenExcellent communication skillsHighly organised and detail orientedAbility to work independently on projectsLeadership and influencing skillsProven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to relevant stakeholdersInternational experience will be a plusNegotiation and problem solving skills
