We are seeking an experienced professional to support our brokerage teams and clients across the Continental Europe region in terms of IFRS 17 introduction and advice.

If you are an IFRS expert with extensive professional experience acquired in re(insurance) / auditing company who can efficiently indicate and translate market changes into corporate company’s products, it’s a perfect role for you.

As an expert in the field you will be expected to educate business clients, brokers and analytics colleagues as well as to explore, drive and pro-actively generate new business opportunities.

We Will Count On You To

• Prepare regular client and brokers’ briefings with respect to accounting topics, in particular IFRS 17 challenges for all types of reinsurance structures
• Provide clients and brokers’ with consulting regarding the impact of IFRS 17 on reinsurance structures and their potential mitigation
• Explore, drive and pro-actively generate new business opportunities by developing reinsurance products which answer to IFRS 17 needs
• Design and provide IFRS 17 products training for clients and internal colleagues across Europe
• Liaise with Guy Carpenter analytical colleagues to secure and improve analytical tools’ suite to capture IFRS 17
• Act as subject matter expert for our European broker community and analytical colleagues regarding accounting related topics for both life and non-life
  
  

What You Need To Have

• Min. 4 years of professional experience related to finance or accounting gained in (re)insurance company or FSI audit department
• IFRS re(insurance) expert knowledge
• University degree in Economics, Mathematics, Law or an equivalent preferably with Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Administration, Capital Markets or Risk Management focus
• CPA, CIMA, ACCA or other professional qualifications
• Proficiency in Business English
• Proven experience in leading and managing projects
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including virtual teams and external clients
• Strong client focus and advanced customer-service skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving
• Can-do attitude, problem-solving skills and openness towards innovation
• Willingness to travel
